You can make a federated search target available to one or more search profiles. When you assign a search target to a profile that makes that search target available from within that search profile so that patrons can use it to search. For example, if you assigned a search target named “ebsco” to a search profile named “main,” patrons could search for items through your EBSCO subscription when they access the “main” search profile.
Federated search targets, including Academic Reserves targets, are not available in the Advanced Search page to limit searching.
